ers against the county, for which service he shall not be entitled
to make any charge, the same being hereby made a part of his
official duty.

99. The county commissioners, in cases of visitation from
cholera or like epidemics in said county, may provide for the
payment of all expenses that may be incurred in procuring tempo-
rary hospitals and attendance upon the poor of said county who
shall become the victims thereof.

1886, ch. 325.

100. They are authorized and empowered to offer a reward
for the arrest and conviction of criminals for offences committed
within said county, whenever in their judgment the nature and
character of the offence will warrant it, and to levy upon the
assessed property of the county to pay the same; provided, how-
ever, that the reward to be paid in any one case shall not exceed
one hundred dollars.

101. When they make their levy, they shall specify therein
what per centum is levied for school purposes, what per centum
for bonded indebtedness of said county, what per centum for
almshouse purposes, what per centum for court purposes, and
what per centum for general purposes, which latter shall include
all matters not embraced under any of the preceding headings.

102. All county taxes levied by the county commissioners
shall be due and payable on the first day of the month next fol-
lowing that in which they are levied; and all persons and corpo-
rations that shall pay their county taxes prior to the first day of
July following such levy, shall be entitled to a deduction of five
per centum on the amount of said taxes; on all county taxes paid
during the month of July, a discount of four per centum shall be
made; on all county taxes paid during the month of August, &
discount of three per centum shall be made; on all county taxes
paid during the month of September, a discount of two per
centum shall be made; on all county taxes paid during the month
of October, a discount of one per centum shall be made; on all
