202. The sheriff of said county shall be allowed for keeping
and boarding each prisoner committed to the county jail for
breach of the peace, or for any criminal offence or otherwise, the
sum of forty cents a day.

203. He shall receive eight per cent, commission for the col-
lection of officers' and attorneys' fees.

204. All hogs are prohibited from going at large on any
public road within the limits of election district number five of
Talbot county; provided, however, that the provisions of this

sub title of this article shall not apply to the public roads of
Potpie neck and Tilghman's island.

205. The owner of any and every hog found trespassing in
violation of the preceding section, shall pay a fine of one dollar
for each offence, per head, to be collected as fines, penalties and

forfeitures are collected under the code of public general laws.

206. Any owner of any hog taken up under section 204 shall
have the privilege of a fair hearing before any justice of the
peace of said election district.

207. The fines specified in section 205 shall be paid, one-fourth
to the informer, one-fourth to the constable in the case, and the
remainder to the board of county school commissioners, to be by
them applied to the public school fund of said county.
