the fourth election district, unless such person or body politic
shall have been recommended to said clerk by the grand jury
which shall have been in session at the term next preceding the
first day of May in each year.

MILES RIVER BRIDGE.
1878, ch. 190.
128. Miles River bridge shall be under the management and
control of the county commissioners, and shall be a free bridge
for the citizens and residents of Talbot county; and during the
month of April of each year the county commissioners shall ap.
point a keeper for said bridge, at a salary of two hundred and
fifty dollars per annum.

129. All accounts for officers' fees shall be made out in a fair
and clear manner, and in words at length; and whenever any
person interested in them, or to whom the same are charged, shall
require a copy of such account, said officers shall in as short a time
as may be convenient, give him an account of said charges in
words at length; and no account for officers' fees, rendered for
services to or in behalf of any county of this State, shall be al-
lowed by the county commissioners thereof, until said account has
been submitted to and approved by the circuit court for said
county.

130. The preceding section shall only apply to the counties of
Talbot, Queen Anne's, Prince George's, Kent, Caroline, Charles,
Harford and Dorchester.

131. The orphans' court of Talbot county may appoint a crier
of said court, who shall receive one dollar and fifty cents a day
for each day's attendance upon said court.
