182. The county commissioners may employ a blacksmith by
the year, to do the necessary iron work at the said jail.
JURORS.

183. The county commissioners shall levy annually, one year
in advance, such sum of money as they may deem sufficient to
defray the expenses of jurors for the ensuing year.

184. The county collector shall, immediately after the termi-
nation of every court, pay to the jurors such sums as they may
severally be entitled to receive for their attendance at that court.

185. A certificate, signed by the clerk of the circuit court,
expressing the number of days any juror may have attended said
court and the sum due him for such attendance, including the
mileage allowed him, shall be a sufficient authority to the said
collector to pay the amount specified in the said certificate.

186. There shall be the following number of justices of the
peace and constables in said county, to wit: for election district
number one, three justices of the peace and three constables; for
election district number two, four justices of the peace and three
constables; for election district number three, three justices of
the peace and three constables; for election district number four,
two justices of the peace and one constable; for election district
number five, two justices of the peace and one constable; for
election district number six, two justices of the peace and two
constables; and for election district number seven, three justices
of the peace and two constables.

187. Whenever a justice of the peace for said county shall
issue a summons for a defendant residing in a different election
