the duties required of him under the provisions of the preceding
section, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and be liable to
presentment and indictment, and on conviction thereof shall be
fined in a sum not less than ten dollars nor more than fifty dol-
lars, or be imprisoned in the county jail for not less than thirty
days, nor more than ninety days, or both, in the discretion of the
court before which he shall be tried and convicted, the said fine
to be applied to the road fund of the county.

203. Any supervisor who shall fail or neglect to perform his
duties under the provisions of section 201, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and be liable to presentment and indictment by the
grand jury, and on conviction shall be fined not less than twenty-
five dollars nor more than fifty dollars, in the discretion of the
court, said fine to be applied to the said road fund.

204. The county commissioners shall require an accurate re-
turn to be made annually to the treasurer of the county, of all
dogs over the age of two months, possessed by each person
and kept about each house.

205. They shall levy and cause to be collected one dollar for
each dog and two dollars for each bitch, and fifty cents for each
additional dog or bitch owned or possessed by each person named
in such return as the owner thereof.

206. The treasurer shall appoint for each election district
except the second, third and fourth, a deputy, who shall be
known as the collector of the dog tax.

207. The collectors of said several districts shall collect the
sums so levied, at the same time and in the same manner as
