1486 KENT COUNTY. [ART. 15.

season to the commissioners of said counties, respectively, to be

applied by them to the use and benefit of said respective counties.

216. All persons holding a license under sections 209-210, are
hereby vested with power and authority to arrest, without warrant,
all persons who may be detected by them in violating any of the
provisions of said sections, or of the provisions of the code of
public general laws regulating the shooting of wild fowl, remain-
ing in force over said waters, and to carry such person before a
justice of the peace, to be dealt with according to law.

217. It shall not be unlawful for persons to shoot at or shoot
any water-fowl flying about their feeding grounds in Kent
county, from vessel, boat, float, canoe or craft of any kind; and

section 3 of article 99 of the code of public general laws, title

"Wild Fowl," shall not apply to Kent county.

218. It shall be lawful to shoot ducks or other wild fowl from
the shore over decoys in said county.

1873, ch. 54.

219. If any person shall violate any of the provisions of sec-
lions 380 to 402 of article 7, title "Cecil county," or sections 278
to 300 of article 13, title "Harford county," he shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be liable for the fine imposed
for such violation, and the same may be recovered by action of

debt, in the name of the State, before a justice of the peace of

either Kent, Cecil or Harford county, or by indictment in the

circuit court of either of said counties; and when any person is

convicted of the violation of any of the provisions of said sections,

and refuses or neglects to pay the fine for which judgment is
given against him, he shall be committed to the county jail for a
period of time not less than twenty and not more than forty days
but the party so committed shall be released on the payment of

the fine, costs and jail expenses.
