1452 KENT COUNTY. [ART. 15.

CIRCUIT COURT.

P. L. L., (1860,) art. 14, sec. 79.

76. There shall be two terms of the circuit court for Kent
county, commencing at Chestertown on the third Monday of
April and the third Monday of October in each year.

77. The judges of the circuit court for Kent county may, in
their discretion, appoint intermediate terms for the transaction
of business not requiring a jury, to which terms process may
be also returnable.

CLERK.

78. The clerk of the circuit court is authorized and directed to
continue the index of all judgments and decrees on the dockets of
said court, in the names of all the parties to such judgments or
decrees.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

1876, ch. 99.

79. There shall be five commissioners for Kent county.

80. The county commissioners shall have the general super-
vision of the public roads in Kent county, and the work done
thereon, and for this purpose they shall, at their first meeting in
January after their election ancl qualification, assign among
themselves the different districts of the county, one of said com-
missioners to each of said districts, whose duty it shall be to
supervise all the public roads in the districts assigned to him, and
to go over said roads at least one day and not more than two
days in each month, for which services they shall be entitled to
the same per diem and mileage as for other duties performed by
them; and before the accounts of any person appointed as super-
visor under them by the board of county commissioners are
passed and paid by the said board, they shall have first the
endorsement and approval of the said county commissioner thus
assigned to, and put in charge of said district.
