1867, ch. 41.

113. The fishing season in the waters of Romney creek, in
Harford county, shall begin on the fifteenth day of March and
end on the first day of October succeeding, in each and every
year; and fishing in every mode and manner is prohibited in said
creek for the time intervening between the first day of October
and the fifteenth of March succeeding, in each and every year.

1880, ch. 194.

114. It shall not be lawful for any person to whip or beat the
waters of said Romney creek, with poles, sticks, or any other
thing for the purpose of driving fish into seines, fish baskets or
any other contrivance for catching fish; nor shall it be lawful for
any person, at any time, between the first day of October and the
fifteenth day of March in each and every year, to erect any fish
pot, or to fish with any drag net, fish basket, or any other snare,
for fish, in the waters of said creek.

1870, ch. 231.

115. It shall not be lawful for any person to lash or beat the

waters within the -limits of Harford county, or which wash the
shores of said county, with rods, poles, sticks or anything else, or
to make noises on the deck of any boat, or on any part of any
boat, by the use of clogs or wooden shoes, or by any other instru-
ment or means, or in any other manner, for the purpose of

driving fish into any seine, fish basket or any other contrivance
for catching fish.

116. Any person violating any of the provisions of the pre-
ceding section shall pay a fine of not less than ten nor more than
one hundred dollars, and forfeit the boat, together with her
tackle and apparel, and her seine and all other property on board
of her at the time of her seizure.

117. On information given on oath to a justice of the peace
of said county of a violation of section 115, he shall issue his
warrant for the arrest of the offender, and the seizure of the boat,
together with all her tackle and apparel, and all other property
