1880, ch. 133.

73. It is made the special duty of the judge or judges of the
courts having criminal jurisdiction in said cities of Annapolis,
Baltimore, Cumberland, Frederick, Hagerstown and Frostburg,
to specially charge the grand juries of said courts upon the
execution of the three preceding sections, and the police authori-
ties of said cities are specially charged with the execution thereof,
and to that end shall direct nightly examinations by some of
their officers, of all such places.

74. It shall not he lawful for any person to carry con-
cealed, in Annapolis, whether a resident thereof or not, any
pistol, dirk-knife, bowie-knife, sling-shot, billy, razor, brass, iron
or other metal knuckles, or any other deadly weapon, under a
penalty of a fine of not less than three nor more than ten dollars
in each case, in the discretion of the justice of the peace before
whom the same may be tried, to be collected as other fines and
penalties are now collected; provided, the provisions of this sec-
tion shall not apply to any officer of the law, either of the State
or city, where any pistol or other weapon is a part of the pre-
scribed outfit of said officer; and provided further, that either
party feeling aggrieved at the decision of said justice of the
peace, shall have the right to appeal to the circuit court for
Anna Arundel county,

75. It shall not be lawful for any person not a resident of
Anne Arundel county or Prince George's county, to hunt, shoot,
till, destroy or in any way trap any birds within the limits of
said counties, at any season of the year, without the permission
of the owner of the land or marsh upon which said non-resident
may hunt.

76. Every person who shall be adjudged guilty of a violation
of the aforegoing section, before any justice of the peace of the
said counties, shall be fined the sum of five dollars, and the gun-
