942 LIMITATION OF ACTIONS. [ART. 57.

109. Any person offending in any way by violating the pro-
visions of the preceding section, either as agent or otherwise, shall
be liable to a prosecution therefor, and upon indictment and con-
viction thereof in any court having jurisdiction, shall be fined not
less than twenty nor more than one hundred dollars, and shall
stand committed until the fine and costs are paid.

ARTICLE LVII.

LIMITATION OF ACTIONS.

1. Actions other than those upon
specialties, to what accounts
not applicable
2. Persons under disability
3. Actions upon judgments, bonds
or other specialties, persons
under disability
4. Persons leaving the State or mov-
ing from county to county
5. Persons absent when cause of
action arose.
6. Action on sheriffs', constables',
or coroners' bond.
7. Suspension of operation in case of
death of party indebted.

8. Time pending petition in insol-
vency.
9 Limitations in bar of patents by
State
10. Prosecution or suit for fine; pen-
alty, forfeiture or misdemeanor.
11. For blasphemy, sabbath breaking,
drunkenness.
12. For fees of attorneys, solicitors,
clerks, registers, sheriffs, con-
stables, and other officers.
13. Ignorance of cause of action, in-
duced by fraud of adverse
party.

1. All actions of account, actions of assumpsit, or on the case,
actions of debt on simple contract, detinue or replevin, all actions
for trespass, for injuries to real or personal property, all actions
for illegal arrest, false imprisonment, or violation of the twenty-
third, twenty-sixth, thirty-first and thirty-second articles of the
declaration of rights, or any of them, or of the existing, or any
future provisions of the code touching the writ of habeas corpus,
or proceedings thereunder, and all actions, whether of debt, eject-
ment or of any other description whatsoever, brought to recover
