each of the seven oyster districts of this State as prescribed by sec-
tion 26 of this article, and five for the city of Baltimore, to hold
office for two years, or until his successor shall have been qualified,
and to be removable by the governor on cause shown, in his dis-
cretion, and another person shall be appointed by the governor
in his place to serve out the balance of his term; provided,
however, that the provisions of sections 68-76 of this article
shall not apply to persons engaged on such vessels who share the
profits of the cargo and who are not employed on regular wages,
or to persons living in the county of which the captain is a resi-
dent. The word county in said sections of this article shall not
be construed to include Baltimore city.

69. Every State shipping commissioner so appointed shall
give bond to the State of Maryland for the faithful performance
of his duty in the penalty of five thousand dollars, with one or
more sureties, which bond shall be approved by a judge of the
circuit court for the county where the office of the commissioner
may be located, as hereafter provided, and by a judge of the
supreme bench of Baltimore city for those commissioners whose
offices are required to be in that city.

70. The offices of the said shipping commissioners shall be
located as follows: First district at St. Michaels, Talbot county ;
second district at Cambridge, Dorchester county; third district
at Deal's Island, Somerset county; fourth district at Crisfield,
Somerset county; fifth district at Solomon's Island, Calvert
county; sixth district at Annapolis, Anne Arundel county;
seventh district, Baltimore city; but whenever, in the discretion
of the governor, it shall be deemed necessary to change the
location of any of the first six districts, such change may be
made, and the governor is hereby authorized to make such pub-
lication of said change as he may deem necessary.
