ART. 72.] CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS, ETC.

shall knowingly secrete or harbor such child, or be accessory thereto,
with the intent to deprive such parent or parents, guardian or guar-
dians, or any person who may be in lawful possession of such child,
of the custody, care, and control of such child, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall suffer imprisonment in
the penitentiary for a term not exceeding twenty years, in the dis-
cretion of the court.

20. Every person, his counsellors, aiders, or abettors, who shall
be convicted of the crime of kidnapping, and forcibly or fraudulently
carrying, or causing to be carried, out of this State, any person,

convicted of the crime of attempting to poison any person, shall be
sentenced to undergo a confinement in the penitentiary for not less
than two nor more than ten years.
