CLERKS OF COURTS. [ART. 57.

When one judge
or clerk may
adjourn court.

the other judges can be had; and, in the absence of all the judges,
the clerk may adjourn the court from day to day, until a judge is
present.

CLERKS OF COURTS.

RELATING TO CLERKS GENERALLY.

1. Clerks to have custody of books and papers,
to file papers and record judgments etc.,
to issue process, to give certified copies,
to make entries of all proceedings

2. To attend office daily

RECORDS.

3 To keep record of all suits ended by trial,
judgment, etc, what record to contain
4 To keep record of executions, fees
6 Penalty for neglect.

7 Copies of record of judgments or decrees,
where not required to be recorded

RECORDING OF DEEDS.

8 Recording deeds, etc, not to record unless
fees first paid
9. To make full index of all deeds, etc.

12. To make and send extracts to commis-
sioner of land office
13. To indorse date of receipt on deeds

BLANK WRITS
14. Blank writs, penalty
