tain errors in the distribution of the free school fund, and making an ap-
propriation therefor.

1868, c. 208, directing the treasurer, upon the warrant of the comp-
troller, to pay to the board of school commissioners for Howard county,
the sum of six thousand four hundred dollars, to be employed for the pur-
pose of organizing and supporting a high school in said county, and ap-
propriating said sum for the purpose aforesaid.

to endow an agricultural college in the state of Maryland, and enacting ss.
in lieu thereof.
1868, c. 392, an act to appropriate a sum of money to the Baltimore
county manual labor school.
1868, c. 397, an act for the relief of the faculty of physic of the university
of Maryland, by appropriating a sum of money therefor.
1868, c. 436, an act to authorize the adjutant-general to purchase arms
for the use of Charlotte Hall school.
1868, c. 400, entitled an act to increase the number of free scholarships
in the Baltimore female college, and to change the manner of appointing
the beneficiaries and board of trustees; and repealing all acts, or parts of
acts, in relation to the Baltimore female college inconsistent with this act.
1868, c. 434, requiring the treasurer, upon the warrant of the comp-
troller, to pay annually to the board of school commissioners of Wicomico
county, the sum of eight hundred dollars, one-half thereof to be paid to
the board of trustees of Salisbury academy, (see 1874, c. 208), and the other
half to be applied to the public school fund of said county; and that the
donation of two hundred dollars now paid to the trustees of Salisbury
academy, for Somerset county, shall hereafter be paid to the trustees of
Fairmount academy, in said Somerset county; and that the said treasurer,
upon the warrant of the comptroller, shall pay annually to the board of
school commissioners of Wicomico county, the sum of four hundred dollars
in addition to the sum above named, to be applied to the public school
fund of said county.
1870, c. 419, repeals s. 2 of 1868, c. 434, and re-enacts the same with
amendments, relating to Fairmount academy, in Somerset county. The
act of 1872, c. 189, authorizing the trustees of Salisbury academy to sell
the property belonging to said academy, is repealed, and re-enacted with
amendments, by 1874, c. 208.
