JOINT OBLIGATIONS.

SEC. 2. No person shall institute more than one suit
on a joint and several bond, promissory note, penal or
single bill, when the persons executing the same are
alive and reside in the same county, and if more suits
than one be instituted on any such bond, promissory
note, penal or single bill, judgments of non pros, shall
be entered against the plaintiff in such suits.

enacts the same with amendments as follows:

SEC. 19. It shall be the duty of the clerk of the
county commissioners for each of the counties of this
state, to make out and file with the clerics of the cir-
cuit courts for said counties, not less than twenty days
before the beginning of the first regular term of said
courts next ensuing the passage of this act, and not
less than twenty days before the beginning of the sec-
