Constable.

Sub-Sec. 2. The burgess and commissioners shall
have power to appoint a constable for said town, with
such compensation as may be allowed by general law,

nify said town against any loss, who shall also be a col-

lector of taxes imposed by the corporation, who shall
have power to collect the same by distress upon either
real or personal property, as collectors of county taxes.

Other officers.

Sub-Sec: 3. The burgess and commissioners of said
town shall have power to appoint all other officers not
herein named, who may be deemed necessary to exe-
cute the powers of said corporation and the laws
thereof.

Duration of
charter.

Sub-Sec. 4. The charter of said corporation and its
amendments shall continue in full force and effect until
repealed by special act of legislation, on petition of
three-fourths of the legal voters of said town.
