HOLLY GROVE.
1870, c. 457 enacts the following:
194. The clerk of the circuit court of Baltimore county, Maryland, shall not grant
a license to any person to sell spirituous or fermented liquors of any kind at any
place within one mile of Holly Grove, Baltimore county, Maryland, and any per-
son selling any spirituous or fermented liquors, or any other kind of intoxicating
drink, whether of original manufacture or of a mixed character, within the above
described limits, shall, on conviction, be subject to the same fines and punishments
now provided by the Code of public general laws of Maryland, for selling spirituous
or fermented liquors without license.

JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.
The act of 1870, c. 37, approved and in force February 19, 1870, authorizes and
empowers the governor to appoint an additional justice of the peace in the fifth elec-
tion district of Baltimore county.
The act of 1870, c. 117, approved and in force March 23, 1870, authorizes the
county commissioners of Baltimore county to appoint an additional constable for
district number "five" in said county.
The act of 1870, c. 244, approved and in force April 7, 1870, enacts as follows: The
governor is requested to appoint an additional justice of the peace for the eleventh
election district of Baltimore county.
