1870, c. 364 repeals 1868, c. 406 [Sup. 1868, p. 151] and enacts the following in lieu
thereof, and repeals all laws inconsistent herewith:

SEC. 1. No canoe, boat or vessel of any kind or de-
scription whatever shall be used or employed in taking
or catching oysters for sale, in the waters of this state,
with scoop, scrape, drag, dredge or any similar instru-
ment, without having first been licensed as hereinaf-
ter provided for.
