SEC. 31. The terms of the circuit court for Charles
county, shall commence at Port Tobacco on the first
Monday in May and fourth Monday in October.
In force from February 7, 1866.

CONSTABLES.
1862, c. 135 which added a section to this article, relating to fees of constables, to
follow section 50, is repealed by 1865, c. 67 continued in force by 1867, c. 375. See
these acts under Public General Laws, Art. XXXVIII, Fees of Officers. They repeal
all Public Local Laws relating to the Fees of Constables.

139. All sums of money receivable and applicable
to the primary schools of Charles county, shall here-
after be disbursed under the direction of the school
commissioners of said county, and all checks or
orders hereafter drawn by said commissioners shall
be countersigned by the register of wills of said
county, for which the said register shall receive the
sum of ten cents, to be paid by the applicant there-
for, for every such order or draft drawn by said
commissioners and signed by him.
