ART. 7. ] CARROLL COUNTY.

27. No land within said corporation not fronting
on any street or road shall be subject to taxation, but
all front lots in said town fronting on any street shall
be subject to assessment and taxation.

28. This act of incorporation shall in no wise ex-
empt the county commissioners from keeping the
county roads within said corporation in good repair,
the same as though there was no corporation, unless
the citizens within the corporation be exempt from
county taxes, otherwise the corporate authorities

repair within the limits of the corporation.
