ELECTIONS.

1864, c. 47 adds the following:

Place for hold-
ing in third
district.

102. The place for holding elections in the third
district in Baltimore county, shall be at the house
known as the six mile house, on the Hookestown
road.

In force from February 24, 1864.
1862, c. 51 adds the following :

1862, c. 51.
In fifth district.

103. The place for holding elections in the fifth
district in Baltimore county, shall be at the house
where Daniel Wilhelm now resides, on the Falls
road, in said district.

In force from January 31, 1862.

ELLICOTT CITY.

See under Public Local Laws, Art. XIII, Howard County, the act of 1867, c. 48,
incorporating Ellicotts' Mills by above name, situate in Howard and Baltimore
Counties.

INSPECTION OF FIRE WOOD.

1864, c. 32 adds the following:

appoint inspec-
tor and corder
of wood on
east bank of
Patapsco.

118. The governor, by and with the consent of the
senate, shall, on or before the first Monday of March
next ensuing, appoint one inspector of fire wood,
whose duty it shall be to inspect and cord all fire
wood landed and sold on the east bank of the Patap-
sco river, on what is known as shores of the Canton
company, between the city limits of direct taxation
and the lower Canton house in Baltimore county.

His oath.

119. The said inspector, before entering upon the
duties of the office, shall take and subscribe the fol-
lowing oath or affirmation, as the case may be, be-
fore some person qualified to administer the same :
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully,
