Appointment
of visitor

SEC. 1. The county commissioners of Baltimore
county are hereby authorized and required to ap-
point a visitor of the almshouse, now under the
charge of the trustees of the poor of Baltimore city,
which appointment shall be made at their first meet-
ing in March, eighteen hundred and sixty-four and
at the same time annually thereafter.

2. It shall be the duty of said visitor to visit the
aforesaid almshouse at least once in each week, for
the purpose of superintending the condition of the
almshouse property and the paupers belonging to
said county, and boarded in the aforesaid institution,
