ORPHANS' COURT.

1885, o. 169 repeals all the sections of the articles of the Public Local Laws, relat-
ing to the pay and mileage of the judges of the Orphans' Courts, and adds the follow-
ing section to take place after section 227.

Pay of judges.
|
227. The judges of the orphans' courts of the seve-
ral counties shall each receive the sum of four dol-
lars, and the judges of the orphans' court of Balti-
more city, shall receive six dollars for every days'
attendance upon the sessions of said court, to be paid
by the counties and city of Baltimore, respectively.

1861. c. 83 repeals section 253 and substitutes the following:

253. The register of wills, in each county, before
he acts as such, shall give bond with two good and
sufficient securities, in the penal sum of seven thou-
sand dollars, payable to this state, conditioned for the
faithful performance of his said office of register of
wills, which bond shall be taken, and secureties ap-
proved by the judges of the orphans' court, and re-
corded in the office of the clerk of the circuit court
