better protection of the people of this state against
the ravages of small pox. the sum of five hundred
dollars is hereby appropriated from any moneys in
the treasury not otherwise appropriated, and the
comptroller of the treasury is hereby authorized
and required to draw his warrant for the same oh
the treasurer, in favor of the state vaccine agent,
payable in two instalments, of two hundred and
fifty dollars each, payable on the first of May and
November next after the passage of this act.
