rities in the city of Baltimore by the inhabitants of
the counties of this state shall not be assessed by
the assessors for said city, but shall be assessed in
the counties in which the holders of such stock or
securities may reside, and to the end that the said
assessors, who are hereby authorized to complete
the assessment of property within their respective
assessment districts, and the said county commis-
sioners and boards of control and review, may be
enabled to assess private securities and bonds of
this and other states held by parties in this state at
their cash value, so much of section nine of the act
to which this is a supplement as fixes the market
value thereof, as quoted at the Baltimore stock
board, on the fifteenth day of July next after the
passage of said act, is hereby repealed.

188. The assessors authorized by the first section
of this act to complete the assessment of property
within their respective districts shall complete the
same and make return thereof, as required and di-
rected in and by the act to which this is a supple-
ment, on or before the first day of July next after
the passage of this act, and it shall be the duty of
the county commissioners of the several counties
and the boards of control and review of the several
assessment districts of the city of Baltimore, after
correcting the said returns as provided in the pre-
ceding section of this act, and the said act to which
this is a supplement, and after complying in all re-
spects with the requirements of the act to which
this is a supplement, not inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this act, except in regard to the time
therein limited for the doing thereof, on or before
the first day of October next, to cause to be made
out, as will from the statements, returns and certifi-
cates already made and returned, and by this act
required to be corrected, as from as are hereinbefore
