1867, c. 337 repeals this article and the acts of 1861, c. 79 and 1864, c. 284, and sections
652 to 770 of Article IV of the Public Local Laws, relating to Militia in the city of
Baltimore, and amends and re-enacts this article as follows:

appoint one inspector-general at a salary of five
thousand dollars per annum, who shall, under rules
and regulations to be prescribed by the governor as
commander-in-chief, as soon as practicable, after his
