JURIES.

1865, c. 78 amends section 16 as follows:
   

SEC. 16. Jurors shall receive two dollars and a
half per day, for each and every day they shall
attend the several courts of this state as jurors, and
fifteen cents for each mile over five miles, for going
to and returning from the court once in each term,
to be paid by the counties or city respectively in
which such courts are held. All the sections of the

1867, c. 329 enacts the following:

19. It shall be the duty of the clerk of the county
commissioners for each of the counties of this state,
to make out and file with the clerks of the circuit
courts for said counties, not less than twenty days
before the beginning of the first regular term of said
courts, next ensuing the passage of this act, a fair
