112 TESTAMENTARY LAW. [ART. 93.

2. From and after the passage of this act, the State Board of
Education shall be, ex officio, members of the board of trustees
of the said college.

In force from March 21, 1865.

ARTICLE XCIII.

Testamentary Law.

ADMINISTRATION.

Chapter 162 amends section 14, by adding thereto the following:

SEC. 1. Nevertheless, whenever any person dying, leaving in
this State property subject to administration, the said letters of
administration shall be granted in the county wherein was the
mansion house or residence of the deceased; provided, he had
such lying in said county.

Passed March 24, 1865.

ORPHANS' COURT.

Chapter 100 Adds the following section to take place after section 227:

2. The judges of the Orphans' Courts of the several counties
shall each receive the sum of four dollars, and the judges of the
Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, shall receive six dollars for
every day's attendance upon the sessions of said court, to be paid
by the counties and city of Baltimore, respectively.

8. All the sections of the several articles of. the Public Local
Laws, relating to the pay and mileage of the judges of the
Orphans' Courts of this State, are hereby repealed.
