SCHOOLS.

Chapter 316 adds the following:

13. The donations heretofore granted by laws or resolutions
to the Harford county academy, situated in Bel Air, in said
county, and the donations heretofore granted to the Cokesbury
or Abingdon academy, in said county, are hereby withdrawn,
and the same are hereby added to the public school fund of said
county, for the support of the public schools thereof.

In force from March 7, 1864.

SHERIFF.

Chapter 162 amends Section 135, as follows

14. The sheriff of Harford county shall be allowed by the
county commissioners of said county, for boarding each prisoner
confined in jail, a sum not exceeding ten cents per day, in
addition to what he is now allowed by section one hundred and
thirty-five, of this Article.

In force from February 18,1864, for two years.
