of the State; and the said moneys shall be paid out by the
Treasurer, from time to time, on the warrant of the Comptroller,
when required by him for the purpose of being invested as
hereinbefore mentioned.

Chapter 128 adds the following:
9. The Treasurer of this State upon the warrant of the
Comptroller, shall hereafter pay annually on the first day of
April of every year, succeeding the passage of this act, to the
County Commissioners of the several counties hereafter men-
tioned, the sum of four hundred dollars respectively to be
applied by said County Commissioners to the Public School
fund of their respective counties, the same being in addition to
the sum now received by said counties 'for school purposes, to
wit: to Allegany county, Baltimore county, Carroll county,
Calvert county, Cecil county, Caroline county, Charles county,
St. Mary's county, Harford county, Howard county, Prince
George's county, Queen Anne's county, Somerset county, Talbot
county, Worcester county and Washington qounty, each the
aforesaid sum of four hundred dollars.

Small Pox.
Chapter 269 enacts as follows:
SEC. 1. A State Vaccine Agency is hereby established, said
agency to be located in the city of Baltimore, in which shall be
kept at all times a supply of fresh and good vaccine virus, not
more than two removes from the cow, for the use of the Physi-
cians of this State.
2. The Governor-by and with the advice and consent of the
Senate, shall once in six years appoint as State Vaccine Agent,
