SAINT PETER'S CHURCH, SOMERSET COUNTY.
AN ACT to authorize the Vestry of Saint Peter's Church, in the town of Salisbury,
in Somerset county, to take and hold a lot of land devised by the last will and tes-
tament of William Henry Dulaney.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the vestry of Saint Peter's church, in the town of Salisbury, in
Somerset county, be and they are hereby authorized to take, have, and
hold in perpetual succession, a tract or parcel of land in said county,
not exceeding five acres, devised by the last will and testament of
William Henry Dulaney to said vestry.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from its
passage.
WALTER P. SNOW.
AN ACT to authorize the Circuit Court for Worcester county, in Equity, to confirm a
sale made by Walter P. Snow, Trustee.
WHEREAS, In the Circuit Court for Worcester county, in Equity, in the
case of John R. Franklin, administrator of John D. Feild, deceased,
against Benjamin C. Silverthorne, James Cluff, Harriet G. Cluff and
George Cluff, Walter P. Snow, was appointed Trustee to sell the real
estate mentioned in the proceedings in said case, and on the twenty-
second day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, sold the same,
and whereas, the sale of said land was made in contravention of the
act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed on the tenth day of
May, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-one, commonly known as
the Stay Law, in consequence whereof, the said sale cannot be ratified
by the court, therefore:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Circuit Court for Worcester county, in Equity, be and the
same is hereby authorized and empowered to ratify and confirm the said
sale so made by the said Walter P. Snow, and reported to the said
court, anything in the said act of the tenth of May, eighteen hundred
and sixty-one, to the contrary notwithstanding; provided, that the sale
be regular in all other respects.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
day of its passage.

AN ACT to legalize and make valid a deed from William E. Steele, Executor of
Joseph Steele, late of Carroll county, deceased, to John T. Steele.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a deed made and executed, and acknowledged on the nineteenth
