any time to any officer charged with the duty of enforcing the provisions
of this article relating to street trades.

34. No child under sixteen to whom a permit and badge are issued as
provided for in the preceding sections of this sub-title shall distribute,
sell, expose, or offer for sale, any newspapers, magazines or periodicals,
or work at any of the trades or occupations mentioned in section 29 in any
street or public place after eight o'clock in the evening, or before six o'clock
in the morning nor during the hours when the public schools in the city
in which such child resides are in session, unless provided with an employ-
ment certificate.

35. Any child in any city having a population of 20,000 or over who
shall distribute, sell, expose or offer for sale newspapers, magazines or
periodicals, or shall work at any of the trades or occupations mentioned in
section 29 in violation of any of the provisions of this sub-title shall be
deemed delinquent and may be arrested by any officer or inspector charged
with the enforcement of this sub-title or by any probation officer of a
juvenile court and brought before the juvenile court if there be any juve-
nile court in the city where such child resides, or, if not, before any court
or magistrate having jurisdiction over offenses committed, by children,. and
shall be dealt with according to law. Upon the recommendation of the
principal or chief executive officer of the school which such child is attend-
ing or upon the complaint of any officer charged with the duty of enforc-
ing this sub-title, or of any police officer, attendance officer or probation
officer of a juvenile court, the permit of any child who violates any of the
provisions of this sub-title, or who becomes delinquent, of fails to comply
with all the legal requirements concerning school attendance, may be
revoked by the officer issuing the same for a period of six months, and the
badge taken from such child. The refusal of any child to surrender such
permit and badge, or the working at any of the occupations above men-
tioned in any street or public place by any child after notice of the revoca-
tion of such permit, shall be deemed a violation of this sub-title.

36. Inspectors of factories, attendance officers and other authorized
inspectors may, within their respective districts or jurisdictions, visit and
inspect at any time any place of employment mentioned in this sub-title,
and shall ascertain whether any minors are employed therein contrary to
the provisions of this sub-title; and shall report weekly all cases of illegal
employment to the officer authorized to issue employment certificates in
the county or Baltimore City wherein said child shall reside, and shall
also report weekly said cases of illegal employment to the County Super-
intendent of Schools, or to the Board of School Commissioners of Balti-
more City having jurisdiction over the school which said child should
attend. It shall be the duty of factory inspectors, attendance officers and
other officers charged with the enforcement of this sub-title, to make com-,
plaints against any person violating any of the provisions, of this sub-
title and to prosecute the same. This shall not be construed as a limita-
tion upon the right of other persons to make and prosecute such complaints.
