shall belong to and be paid over to the County Commissioners of Wicomico
County on or before June 1st, in each and every year

67 (Members of Board and Employees to Have No Financial Inter-
est in Official Transactions—Penalties ) No member of the Liquor Con-
trol Board of Wicomico County shall have any financial interest, directly or
indirectly, in the manufacture of any alcoholic beverage, or in any alco-
holic beverage purchased or sold under the provisions of this Article, or de-
rive any profit or remuneration from the purchase or sale of any such bever-
age, other than the salary or wages payable for the discharge of the duties
of the office or position, as herein pi escribed or authorized
Any member of the Board, or any employee of said Board, violating the
provisions of this Section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not
exceeding Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 00000) or to imprisonment not
exceeding three years, or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of
the Court

68 (Liquor Control Board—Powers and Duties, County Dispen-
saries ) In Worcester County, there shall be a Liquor Control Board con-
sisting of 3 members to be appointed by the Governor with the advice
and consent of the Senate, for a term of 10 years, but the members first
appointed shall serve until June 1, 1945 The Board shall organize by
electing its own Chairman In case of a vacancy the vacancy shall be
filled by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, for the
unexpired term The members of said Board shall receive as compensation
$600 00 per annum with mileage fee of 5 cents per mile when in at-
tendance upon meetings, and the said Board shall hold meetings, at least
once a week and oftener, if necessary
The said Board shall have full power and authority to establish and
maintain at Pocomoke City, Snow Hill, Berlin and Ocean City stores to
be known as "Worcester County Liquor Dispensaries", for the sale of any
sparkling or fortified wine and any other alcoholic beverages containing
more than fourteen per centum of alcohol by volume, in sealed packages or
containers, which packages or containers shall not be opened nor their
contents consumed upon the premises where sold For the purpose of
establishing and operating such dispensaries the Board of County Com-
missioners of Worcester County is hereby authorized and directed to ad-
vance, from time to time, to the Liquor Control Board, such sum or sums of
money, not exceeding $10, 000 00, as may be necessary to provide ade-
quate working capital for said Liquor Control Board, and the said Board
of County Commissioners is hereby authorized and empowered to borrow,
upon the credit of said County, said sum or sums as may be necessary
to meet such advances, and the said Liquor Control Board shall also be
authorized to borrow money, from time to time, upon the credit of said
Board, from any banking institution, provided, however, that the aggre-
gate sum advanced to or borrowed by the Liquor Control Board shall at
no time exceed the sum of $10, 000 00 All sums advanced to the Liquor
Control Board by the County Commissioners, and all sums borrowed by
the County Commissioners or the Liquor Control Board shall bear interest
