lars ($2.00) to operate motor vehicles other than motorcycles; one dollar
($1.00) to operate motorcycles and bicycles with motor attachments. Such
license shall be good until suspended or revoked as hereinafter provided,
and shall not be required to be renewed annually. Provided, however,
that the foregoing provisions of this section shall not apply to chauffeurs,
but the latter shall be required to obtain an operator's license, as herein-
before provided, renewable at the end of one year from the date of issue,
and shall pay therefor the sum of three dollars ($3.00) per year.

Duplicate licenses shall be supplied by the Commissioner of Motor
Vehicles for fifty cents each in case where he is satisfied the original has
been lost. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall have authority, in
disputed cases, to determine the kind of license to which any applicant
may be entitled.

184. Every person holding a license to operate motor vehicles in this
State, as of January 1,1937, shall be reqtiired to apply for and obtain a new
license on or before January 1, 1938, and to pay therefor a fee or tax of
one dollar ($1.00). Provided, however, that the provisions of this sec-
tion shall not apply to chauffeurs. Application for licenses shall be made
in writing on forms supplied by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, con-
taining the name and address of the applicant, and such other information
as the Commissioner may require. Applications must be signed by the
applicant and witnessed, but need not be sworn to. Wilful misstatement
of any information required to be furnished in such application shall
be deemed a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred
($500.00) Dollars, or by a sentence of not more than six months in jail,
or both, in the discretion of the Court. From and after January 1, 1938,
all licenses issued prior to January 1, 1937, shall be null and void. All
licenses issued under the provisions of this section shall be good until sus-
pended or revoked as hereinafter provided, and shall not be required to be
renewed annually. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall remit the
fee or tax collected under the provisions of this section without deduction,
to the State Comptroller, and who shall deposit the same in the "State Fund
for Aid to the Needy", to be disbursed therefrom for the purposes and in the
manner prescribed by law.

185. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, or any of his assistants,
who may be designated by him for that purpose, may after due hearing,
upon not less than three days' notice in writing, said notice to be sent by
registered letter to the address given by the operator when applying for
his license certificate, which shall constitute sufficient form of notice, sus-
pend or revoke the operator's license issued to any person under Section
162 of this sub-title for any cause which he may deem sufficient; but every
applicant for an operator's license whose application shall be refused by
