imprisonment for not more than two years in the House of Correction, or
jail, or both fined and imprisoned.

Indictment for illegal sale of whiskey in Wicomico County is not defective because it
fails to mention price at which sold and did not state that sale was not made by
defendant as employee of County Liquor Control Board. Richardson v. State, 175
Md. 216.

This and other sections of Article repealed certain local laws of Dorchester County.
(Art. 10, Sec. 367, 1930 Code Public Local Laws. ) Green v. State, 170 Md., 134.

This Article is prohibitory as well as regulatory, so that where license for sale of
whiskey is not authorized, as in Dorchester County, such sale is unlawful; indictment in
words of statute sufficient. Hayes v. State, 171 Md. 94.

This section held not to apply to Harford County or to repeal local laws of Harford
County (Art. 13, Code of Public Local Laws, 1930 Ed. ), as to sale of alcoholic bever-
ages. Hill v. State, 174 Md. 148.

Amendment to this section held not to affect pending case, as ch. 775, 1939, did not
change requirement as to selling without license or alter the penalty for violation.

which shall be issued in the manner, authorize the doing of the things, -and
be subject to the conditions and restrictions, hereinafter set forth, as
follows:

(3) Beer Licenses

Class A, off sale................................. 25. 00

B, on sale, hotels and restaurants............... 50. 00

C, on sale, clubs............................ 25. 00

E, on sale, steamboats........................ 25. 00

F, on sale, railroads......................... 50. 00

(4) Beer and Light Wine Licenses

Class A, off sale................................. 35. 00

B, on sale, hotels and restaurants............... 60. 00

C, on sale, clubs............................ 35. 00

D, on sale, generally......................... 60. 00

E, on sale, steamboats....................... 35. 00

E, on sale, railroads......................... 60. 00

( 5 ) Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses

Class A, off sale................................. 250. 00

B, on sale, hotels and restaurants............... 750. 00

C, on sale, clubs............................ 250. 00

D, on sale, taverns in Baltimore City, the towns of

North Beach and Chesapeake Beach........ 500. 00

(1) (a) A manufacturer's license shall entitle the holder to establish
and operate in this State a plant for the distilling, rectifying, blending,
brewing, fermenting or bottling of alcoholic beverages at the location
therein described, to import alcoholic beverages, and to sell and deliver
alcoholic beverages to any other license or permit holder, but shall not
permit the bottling of beer except where the same is brewed. Delivery
