October, 1919, along with its recommendations for the location of said in-
stitution in the country, together with any option which they may secure
for the purchase of land and probable cost of buildings, and also any pro-
spective sale of present properties.

said institution shall receive regular religious instruction for which the said

726. All legacies now held and existing, and all legacies that may
hereafter be given by persons dying after June 1, 1918 and the acquisi-
tion by the State of Maryland as aforesaid of the property and rights of
said now existing corporation, the said Maryland Industrial School for
Girls, and all appropriations by the State of Maryland and the City of
Baltimore and the several counties of the State of Maryland made or con-
tracted for, and gifts, grants, and devises heretofore and hereafter to be
made, given, granted, devised or bequeathed to the Maryland Industrial
Training School for Girls or to the said Maryland Industrial School for
Girls, either under or by said name, or under its former name of the Female
House of Refuge shall survive and inure to the benefit of and vest in the
Board of Managers of the Montrose School for Girls as appointed under
the provisions of this sub-title.

727. For each white female minor committed to the care and training
of the Montrose School for Girls from the City of Baltimore or any one of
the counties in the State, the said city or county, as the case may be, shall,
as herein specified, pay into the State Treasury the sum of one hundred
and eighty dollars ($180.00) per annum, for the care and training of such
white female minor, and the remaining amount required for the care
and training of such white female minor shall be paid from the Treasury
of the State, and the said city or county, as the case may be, shall, as
herein specified, pay unto the State Treasurer the sum of twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) per annum, for each white female minor paroled and
under the control of the Montrose School for Girls, for supervising said
white female minors. The expense for care, training and supervision of
all white female minors in the Montrose School for Girls and on parole
and under its control shall be a charge upon each county and City of
Baltimore; committing such white female minor or minors to the Montrose
School for Girls, as hereinafter provided. It shall be the duty of the
Board of Managers of the Montrose School for Girls to furnish to the
County Treasurer and to the Comptroller of the City of Baltimore, having
white female minors committed to the Montrose School for Girls a quar-
terly statement giving the number of white female minors and the name
of each white female minor from and charged to such county or the City
of Baltimore, as the case may be, and the cost of maintenance and super-
vision due from said county and the City of Baltimore for such white
female minor or minors. The Board of Managers of the Montrose School
for Girls shall certify to the State Comptroller on the first days of Jan-
uary, April, July and October of each year, the amount not previously
