1933 (Special Sess. ), ch. 2, sec. 53.

53. Licenses Issued Under Precious Laws. The holder of every license
issued under the provisions of Chapters 489, 213, 490 and 491 of the Acts
of 1933, shall be permitted to sell beer as herein defined until the expi-
ration of all such licenses, subject to revocation or suspension as provided
in said respective Acts.

The holder of every license issued under the provisions of Chapters 488
and 522 of the Acts of 1933, shall be permitted to sell beer and light wine
as herein defined until the expiration of such licenses, subject to revocation
or suspension as therein provided.

No holder of any of the licenses issued under any of said Acts shall be
permitted to sell any other alcoholic beverages after the passage of this
Article. If any holder of any of said licenses shall apply for and obtain a
license under the provisions of this Article, before the expiration of said
licenses, such holder may surrender for cancellation the license issued to
him under the authority of any of the said Acts, and in such event shall
be entitled to a credit for the unearned portion of the fee paid for any of
said licenses, the said credit to be applied on account of the fee herein
prescribed, and the Clerks of the several Courts are hereby authorized
to allow such credits.

1935, ch. 201, sec. 54.

54. In Dorchester County every voter, who signs the certificate sup-
porting the application for license, shall have resided in the voting pre-
cinct in which the applicant proposes to do business, for three hundred
and sixty-five consecutive days immediately prior to the date of the filing
of such application, and the signature of any person who does not meet
the requirements of Section 5 of said Article and of this section, shall be
null and void.

1935, ch. 201, sec. 55.

55. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation holding
license under the provisions of this Article, to sell or serve beer on the
Sabbath Day in Dorchester County; and any person violating the pro-
visions of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than five ($5. 00) dollars and
not more than twenty-five ($25. 00) dollars.

1935, ch. 201, sec. 56.

56. In Dorchester County it shall be unlawful for any person to dis-
play or drink in any bar, restaurant, tavern, or any other licensed place,
any alcoholic beverage other than that which may be lawfully sold by the
licensee therein Any person who drinks or displays any such beverage in
violation of the provisions hereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than five ($5. 00)
dollars nor more than twenty-five ($25. 00) dollars. And all licensees of
Hotels, Restaurants and Taverns are hereby required to post at least four
