time thereafter be entitled to obtain any other license under the provisions
of this Article, and no other person shall be entitled to obtain such a license
for the same premises until after the expiration of six months from the
date of such revocation and not at all in the discretion of the said Comp-
troller, Board of License Commissioners for the city or county or Bureau
of State1 Licenses as the case may be.

Boards of License Commissioners.

1933 (Special Sess. ), ch. 2, sec. 45, and ch. 72, sec. 45.

45. Boards of License Commissioners—Appointments and Qualifica-
tions. The Governor, biennially, by and with the advice and consent of
the Senate, if in session, and if not in session, then the Governor alone,
shall appoint in Baltimore City, and in each of the counties of Prince
George's, Calvert Washington, Wicomico and Worcester Counties three
persons who shall constitute and be styled "The Board of License Com-
missioners for Baltimore City or.................. County, " as the case

may be. In making said appointments, the Governor shall designate one
of the appointees in Baltimore City and each of said Counties to be the
Chairman of the respective Boards. Said Commissioners shall be resi-
dents and voters of Baltimore City or the respective Counties, as the case
may be, and they shall be men or women of high character and integrity
and of recognized business capacity. Provided, however, that all appoint-
ments made in pursuance of the provisions of this Article made on or before
the first day of June, 1935, shall expire on said date and provided, further,
that the surviving members of the Board of License Commissioners for
Baltimore City appointed in pursuance of Chapter 491 of the Acts of
1933, and the Board of Beer License Commissioners of Prince George's
County, appointed in pursuance of Chapter 488 of the Acts of 1933, shall
remain in office and constitute members of the Boards of License Commis-
sioners for said City and County, until June 1st, 1935 In case of any
vacancies in the number of said License Commissioners in Baltimore City
or in any County occurring when the Legislature is not in session, the Gov-
ernor shall appoint some eligible person to fill the vacancy during the re-
mainder of the term of office of the person originally appointed. In
each of the following Counties the respective Boards of County Commis-
sioners shall constitute the Board of License Commissioners: Carroll,
Cecil and Dorchester Counties.

In Baltimore County, the Board of County Commissioners shall ap-
point annually three persons who shall constitute the Board of License
Commissioners for said County and the said Board of License Commis-
sioners shall hold their office, possess the powers, perform the duties and be
subject to removal as herein prescribed, except that the Board of County
Commissioners shall have the power to remove the members of said Board
for the causes herein prescribed. The County Commissioners of said
County shall fix and determine the salaries of the Chairman and members
of said Board of License Commissioners; provided that no member of said
