the fifteenth day of August, both dates inclusive, and then only by means
of rod, hook and line. The creel limit on large and small mouth bass and
trout shall not be over ten in one day, —no trout under eight inches in
length shall be taken and no bass under nine inches.

The Conservation Commission shall not at any time during the term
of the lease herein referred to close to the public any part of the area
except it may at its discretion and for the proper propagation of fish close
tributaries to the area for their length, not to exceed three at any one time,
or he may prohibit fishing during the period between one hour after sunset
and half an hour before sunrise if it deems it necessary for the proper
policing of the area.

84. Unlawful to Hunt Without First Having Complied with Game
Laws. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt upon the area herein
referred to as prescribed in Section 81 of this Article without having first
complied with all the requirements contained and specified in the game
laws of Maryland.

85. Cost of Licenses for Boats. Any person or persons desiring to
maintain a boat shall be permitted so to do, only after having obtained
from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Garrett County an annual license,
and paying therefor as follows:

Each row boat, canoe, or sail boat, per annum, $2. 50;

Each row boat, canoe, or sail boat for hiring, per annum, $5. 00;

Each motor boat, per annum, $5. 00;

Each motor boat for hiring, per annum, $10. 00;

together with a fee of twenty-five cents (25c) for each license to the Clerk
for issuance of same, said license shall specify the number, name and post
office address of licensee, size and kind of boat licensed. Blanks for issu-
ing said licenses shall be supplied to the Clerk by the Conservation Com-
missioner and countersigned by the Clerk who issues same. The Clerk
shall fill out the license in duplicate, one to be given to the licensee and the
other to the game warden in charge of the area, who shall register all facts
thereon in a registration book to be provided by the Conservation Depart-
ment for that purpose. The Clerk of Court shall account for the license
fees to the Comptroller in the same manner as described in Section 82 of
this Article. The said licensee shall plainly display the number of his
license in figures at least four inches in height above the water line on both
sides of the bow of the boat, and each motor boat shall conform to the
Federal regulations as to lights, life preservers and other equipment for
motor boats. Each motor boat so licensed and used on the waters of the
Lake shall be under the supervision of the Conservation Commission, its
deputies and game warden in charge of the area, whose duty it shall be to
see that no boats shall be permitted to ply the waters of this Lake that are
not complying with the Federal regulations, or which are polluting the
