187G. Any person who, after hiring, leasing or renting a motor vehicle
under an agreement not to permit another to operate or drive the same,
shall permit some other person to operate or drive such motor vehicle, and
any person who shall operate or drive such motor vehicle without the con-
sent of the owner, or his duly authorized agent, shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of not more
than One Hundred ($100) Dollars, or imprisonment for not more than six
months, or to both fine and imprisonment.

187H. Whenever complaint is made of a violation within the City of
Baltimore of any of the provisions of any of the sections of this sub-title,
the justice of the peace having criminal jurisdiction before whom such
complaint is brought shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine such
complaint, and in the event of conviction, to impose penalties, fine or im-
prisonment, or both, as prescribed in this sub-title, but any person so con-
victed shall have the right of appeal to the Criminal Court of Baltimore
City, provided that the appeal be taken within ten days from the date of
judgment and sentence, and the Criminal Court, on such appeal, shall hear
and determine the case de novo. In all such appeals the procedure as to
bail, trial and appeal shall be the same as provided in Section 204 of Arti-
cle 56 of the Annotated Code for the disposition of cases arising in Balti-
more City under the Motor Vehicle Laws.

205A. Refusal or failure of any person to furnish the purchaser of any
cow, bull, calf, sheep, hog or other livestock within ninety days after the
sale and delivery of such cow, bull, calf, sheep, hog or other livestock,
provided payment has been made for said animal, the paper or certificate
showing that such animal is pure bred stock when such paper or certificate
is a condition of the sale, shall be deemed a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction thereof said person shall be fined not less than five nor more than
fifty dollars for each offense.
