General Duties of Clerks.

1.

This section referred to in construing art. 26, sec. 19. Messinger v. Ecken-
rode, 362 Md. 69.

1929, ch. 450.

1A. The Clerks of the several Courts referred to in Section 1 of this
Article shall not make any charge for a copy of any paper or record in his
office whether certified or not when the same is requested by a man or
woman formerly in the Military, Air or Naval service of the United States
Government to be used in connection with any claim such person may
have against said government, provided such paper is requested either by
the claimant in person or by the said government.

5. Every clerk shall attend at his office for the transaction of the busi-
ness thereof every day, except Sundays and legal holidays, either in person
or by deputy, unless prevented by sickness, accident or necessity.

It being agreed by counsel that docket entries required by this section were
sent to another county and attachment laid, case was removed to a third county.
