1927, ch. 258, sec. 3. B. Co. C. (1928), sec. 655.

655. No vehicle shall be permitted to stand longer than actually neces-
sary to take on or discharge passengers, baggage or merchandise or freight
in front of or opposite to any fire engine house or within ten feet of either
side of any such fire engine house.

1927, ch. 258, sec. 4. B. Co. C. (1928), sec. 656.

656. No vehicle shall be permitted to stand longer than actually neces-
sary to take ou or discharge passengers, baggage, freight or merchandise
in front of the entrance to any church, theatre, public dance or entertain-
ment hall, driveway (public or private), or within fifteen feet of any
entrance to any hospital or in front of any theatre or place of amusement
or in front of any exits or fire escapes from theatres when and where per-
formances or amusements are being held or when and where persons of
large number are assembled. Nor shall any vehicle be permitted to stand
longer than actually necessary to take on or discharge passengers, bag-
gage, merchandise or freight in front of any shipping or receiving entrance
to business houses and other places where "No Parking" spaces have been
established by orders of the Board of County Commissioners, and desig-
nated by proper signs or markings; nor shall any vehicle, not belonging
to the Police Department, Fire Department, or other County Depart-
ments be permitted to stand longer than actually necessary to take on or
discharge passengers, baggage, merchandise or freight in any space re-
served by appropriate signs or markings, provided by the Board of County
Commissioners in front of any public buildings.

1927, ch. 258, sec. 5. B. Co. C. (1928), sec. 657.

657. In all cases where vehicles stand upon the streets, roads, avenues,
or lanes of the county for a longer period than is sufficient to take on or
discharge passengers, baggage, merchandise or freight, they shall be so
placed that both the front and rear wheels next to the curb or side of the
road or avenue are not more than six inches therefrom nor less than four
feet distance from the front or rear of any vehicle, excepting in cases
where the Board of County Commissioners may by regulation determine
that such vehicles may be parked at an angle with the curb or side of the
street or road.

658. No vehicle shall be so parked or otherwise stopped on any road,
street and/or highway in said county as to prevent the free passage of
other vehicles or street cars in both directions at the same time.

659. "No Parking" spaces in front of shipping or receiving entrances
to business houses and apartment houses may be provided and established
by the Board of County Commissioners by compliance with the following

conditions: The owner or occupant of the building as herein described,
