654 ARTICLE 3.

Article 51, Public General Laws of the 'State of Maryland, and on the
poll books of the several election districts of said county that shall be last
filed in the clerk's office of said court, provided for in the preceding sec-
tion, a panel to consist of the names of two hundred (200) male persons
to be fairly and impartially selected by said judges, with special reference
to the intelligence, sobriety and integrity of such persons and without the
least reference to their political opinions, to be known as the petit "jury
panel, provided, however, that no person shall be selected and placed upon
such panel as a juror who shall not have arrived at the age of twenty-five
years or who is over seventy years of age, Judges of the Orphans' Court
of said county, delegates, coroners, and constables during their continu-
ance in office; and also school masters, physicians, pharmacists and min-
isters of the gospel shall be exempt from attendance as jurors; and of the
names of such persons when so selected, a list shall be made and a certifi-
cate thereto appended by the said judges that the said list of names has
been duly selected in conformity with and according to the spirit and
intent of this Article, and which said list and certificates shall be filed
with the clerk of the said court and by him preserved as other proceedings
of said court are kept; and no property qualification shall be required in
any juror drawn as herein provided.

391B. That in the selection of a panel to consist of two hundred (200)
male persons as provided for in the preceding section, and to be known as
the petit jury panel, the total of two hundred names shall be selected from
the fifteen election districts of said county in the following proportions :
thirty names from District No. 1, ten names from District No. 2, eight
names from District No. 3, eight names from. District No. 4, two names
from District No. 5, two names from District No. 6, three names from
District No. 7, fifteen names from District No. 8, thirty names from Dis-
trict No. 9, two names from District No. 10, fifteen names from District
No. 11, thirteen names from District No. 12, sixteen names from District
No. 13, sixteen names from District No. 14, and thirty names from Dis-
trict No. 15,

391G. It shall be the duty of the Judges, of the Circuit Court for Balti-
more County, not less than fifteen days before the commencement of each
term of said court, in the presence of such practicing members of the bar
of said court as shall think proper to attend, notice of the time and place
having been first given to said bar through the crier of said court, to pro-
ceed to select from the list last furnished by the clerk of the County Com-
missioners of said county, provided for in Section 6, Article 51, Public
General Laws of the State of Maryland, and 011 the poll books of the
several election districts of said county that shall be returned and filed in
the clerk's office of said court, provided for in the preceding section, a
panel to consist of the names of one hundred (100) male persons to be
