sink, or otherwise, and allow the said obstructions or any part thereof to
remain for the space of seven days, he shall be subject to a fine of not
less than ten nor more than forty dollars, and one dollar for every suc-
ceeding day such obstructions shall remain, the one-half to the informer
and the other half to the Commissioners of Pocomoke River, to be ex-
pended by them in cleaning out said river.

134. The inhabitants of Ocean City, in Worcester County, Maryland,
are constituted a body corporate, by the name of Mayor and City Council
of Ocean City, and by that name may sue and be sued, have and use a
common seal, and have perpetual succession; that the bounds and limits
of said city shall be as follows: Beginning at mean low water mark in
the Atlantic Ocean, where the north line of South Seventh street, extended,
would strike said ocean; thence by and with such line extended, and the
north line of South Seventh street, and said north line extended, in a
westerly direction to the middle of Synepuxent Bay; thence along the
middle of Synepuxent and Isle of Wight bays, in a northerly direction,
to a point where the south line of North Twenty-sixth street, as laid out
on the plat of the Synepuxent Beach Company, recorded among the Land
Records of Worcester County, would, if extended, intersect said middle
line of Isle of Wight Bay; thence by and with such line extended and
the said south line of North Twenty-sixth street, and said line extended
to a point in said ocean, at mean low water mark, thence by and with said
ocean, at mean low water mark, to the beginning.

135. The qualifications of voters in town elections of Ocean City shall
be as follows: A voter, whether man or woman, must be a citizen of the
United States and twenty-one years of age or over and must be one who
for one year next preceding the election has been and is, at the time of
the election, assessed on the tax books of said town with, and is the owner
of, real or personal property of the value of at least one hundred dollars,
and if only a part owner then such part interest must be of the value,
according to such assessment, of at least one hundred dollars, or, being a
citizen of the United States and twenty-one years of age or over, who for
one year next preceding the election has been and is at the time of the
election the owner of part of the capital stock of any body corporate, which
corporation has been for at least one year next preceding the election and
at the time of the election is assessed with and is the owner of real or per-
