pay the same, such fees shall be paid by the county wherein said judgment
was rendered; and all fines and penalties received by any justice under
the provisions of Section 99 shall be accounted for and wholly paid with-
out abatement or deduction therefrom by such justice of the County Com-
missioners of the county wherein they are collected, for the use of said
county; and no part of any fine or penalty enforced or collected under
said section shall be paid to any informer.

101. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Worcester County is hereby
authorized and directed to have made tinder the supervision and control
of the judges of the First Judicial Circuit of Maryland a new general
index of the land records of said Worcester County beginning with the
year eighteen hundred and seventy-six, and bringing it up to date, accord-
ing to the most approved modern system now in vogue, of which the said
clerk, together with the said judges, shall be the judge.

102. The said clerk is authorized to let the said work on contract as
a whole or to employ any competent person or persons to do said work,
subject to the approval of the said judges; and the County Commissioners
of Worcester County are hereby authorized and required to levy a suffi-
cient sum to pay therefor at their next succeeding levy after the Clerk
of the said Circuit Court shall report the amount thereof to the said
County Commissioners and the same shall be approved by the said Judges
of the said Circuit, or any one of them.

103. In all cases of renting land in Worcester County, wherein a
share of the growing crops shall be reserved as rent, or wherein advances
by the landlord shall be made upon the faith of the crops to be grown, said
rent reserved and such advances made shall be a lien on such crops, which
shall not be divested by any sale made thereof by the tenant or by any
administrator of a deceased tenant, or by the assignment of the tenant
in insolvency, or by the process of law issued against the tenant; pro-
vided, that at the time of said renting, the contract under and by which
said advances are to be made, shall be reduced to writing, duly executed
and attested by the said landlord and tenant.

104. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Worcester County, shall not
issue license to any peddler, either walking with push cart or horse or
