sub-title of this article shall be paid to the board of school commissioners
of said county for the use of the public schools in said county.

162. When any person on board of any canoe, boat or vessel, engaged
in violating any of the provisions of this sub-title of this article, shall flee
to avoid an arrest, the officer endeavoring to make such arrest shall seize
such canoe, boat or vessel used in such violation, and all property found
on board; and the same proceedings thereupon shall be had as in all cases
of seizure under other sections of this sub-title of this article.

163. Upon information given under oath of any violation of this sub-
title of this article, to the commander or deputy commanders of the State
fishery force, it shall be the duty of the said commander or deputy com-
manders to arrest the offender, and seize the boat, canoe or vessel, together
with all their tackle, apparel and property found on board, and deliver
them over to the authorities of the said county to be dealt with according
to the provisions of this sub-title of this article; and the said commander
and deputy commanders are authorized to follow such alleged offender,
and make such arrest and seizure in any part of this State, as well as
within the limits of said county.

164. It shall be the duty of the commander and deputy commanders,
with or without warrant, to arrest any person, or to seize and take into
custody any canoe, boat or vessel, with their apparel, tackle and property
found on board, whenever such person, canoe, boat or vessel shall be found
violating any of the provisions of this sub-title of this article, and bring
the offender before a justice of the peace, to be dealt with as herein pro-
vided; and it shall be the duty of the justice of the peace before whom
such person shall be taken by said officer, to take cognizance of the same
and docket a case in the name of the State against such person, and the
said canoe, boat or vessel; and the said justice shall proceed to try the
same and render judgment, as provided by this sub-title of this article.

165. It shall not be lawful for any persons to take or catch oysters
within the waters of said county, except citizens of this county, or in Nan-
ticoke river, except citizens of Wicomico and Dorchester counties; and
any person violating the provisions of this section shall be subject to like
penalties as are prescribed in the preceding sections of this sub-title of
this article.

166. All white owners and masters of canoes, boats or vessels licensed
to take or catch oysters, residents of Wicomico county, are constituted offi-
