justice, and the case shall be then tried in said court on the information
or warrant. If the license of any person doing business under this Act
be revoked by any justice of the peace the fact of such revocation shall
be forthwith certified by said justice under his hand and seal to the clerk
of the Circuit Court for Washington county, who shall note upon the
license record the fact that such revocation has taken place, and file the
certificate setting forth the same with the papers in his office relating to
liquor license.

659. The said clerk shall account for any* pay into the State Treasury
one-fourth of all the monies received for the issuance of said license.

660. This Act does not repeal in any manner chapter 427 of the Acts,
of the General Assembly passed at its January session of 1894, as shown
by the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, volume 2, article 56,
section 155, nor is it intended to permit the issuance of licenses in any
part of Washington county where the issuing of such licenses are now or
may hereafter be prohibited by law. +

661. Any person or persons holding a license issued under the pro-
visions of this article, may assign the unexpired term thereof to another;
provided, that said assignee shall comply with all the requirements and
provisions of this article, in the same manner as is hereby required of an
original applicant for a license under this article, and upon such transfer,
the license so transferred shall have the consent of the clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court, endorsed on said license, and such assignee shall in every re-
spect be subject to all the requirements, provisions and penalties of this
article, and also of all privileges and benefits hereby conferred.++
