1924, ch. 36, sec. 272T.

577. The Justice of the Peace herein provided for, shall at the first
regular meeting of the County Commissioners of Washington County, held
in each month, make a report in writing, verified under oath, of all crim-
inal and Juvenile Cases heard or tried before him during the preceding
month, except corporation cases, of the City of Hagerstown, which report
shall state in each case the name of the defendant, the offense charged, the
name of the person upon whose complaint the warrant was issued, the
number of witnesses summoned, the name of the officer serving the war-
rants and summons, the judgment rendered, the amount of the fine or pen-
alty imposed, the amount of costs taxed, and the amount of fine, penalty
and costs collected by him; and all such fines, penalties and costs, includ-
ing constable's fees, which said Justice is hereby required to collect, shall
at the time of his making such report, be paid to the order of said County
Commissioners.

578. The provisions of this Act shall be construed as conferring ad-
ditional and supplementary powers and jurisdiction on the Justice of the
Peace provided for, and not in substitution of or in conflict with any other
powers possessed by any Justice of the Peace under any existing General
or Local Laws.*

KEEDYSVILLE.

579. The citizens of Keedysville, in Washington county, are a body
corporate, by the name of "The Burgess and Commissioners of Keedys-
ville," and by that name may sue and be sued, and have and use a com-
mon seal.

580. The bounds of said town shall be as follows: beginning at a
county road running between the land of Frisby Doup and Samuel Wag-
oner, and extending five hundred yards on both sides of the turnpike road
running from Boonsboro to Shrapsburg, to a certain road leading to Sam-
uel Poy's mill.

581. The male citizens of Keedysville, of the age of twenty-one years
and upwards, who have resided in said town for six months next preceding
the election, shall elect by ballot, on the first Saturday in May in each
year, a burgess, assistant burgess and three commissioners, having in all
respects the same qualifications as the voters.
