Any one swearing falsely in the affidavit so filed shall be deemed guilty
of perjury.

1906, ch. 571, sec. 8.

394. Every person receiving a pharmacist's or assistant pharmacist's
certificate shall keep the same conspicuously posted in his place of business.
Violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not more than
twenty-five dollars for each violation.

1906, ch. 571, sec. 9.

395. Any certificate obtained by false representation shall be void,
and the offender shall be fined not more than fifty dollars or imprisonment
for thirty days, or both, in the discretion of the court.

1906, ch. 571, sec. 10.

396. Nothing in this Act shall prevent regularly licensed physicians
of the State of Maryland from selling and compounding drugs and medi-
cines as a pharmacist in Talbot county.

1906, ch. 571, sec. 11.

397. All Acts or parts of Acts pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
in the State of Maryland, in so far as they conflict with this Act, are
hereby declared void as to Talbot county.

1906, ch. 571, sec. 12.

398. Nothing in this Act shall be construed as preventing general
merchants of Talbot county from selling such drugs and medicines as have
heretofore been handled by the general merchants of the State of Mary-
land and Talbot county, or any registered physician of this State, from
personally compounding and dispensing drugs and medicines, whether
upon his own prescription or that of any other regular registered phy-
sician of this State.

1906, ch. 571, sec. 13.

399. All applicants from Talbot county for certificates as pharmacists
or assistant pharmacists and for registration as such, whether upon exam-
ination or without examination, as provided in Sections 389-392 of this
subtitle, shall be entitled to the same registration, the same examinations
and the same certificates as are made, given or granted to applicants from
counties other than Talbot county; and the Maryland Board of Pharmacy
is hereby authorized and directed to give said examinations, to issue said
certificates and to make said registrations in the same manner and to the
same effect as are or have been given, issued and made of and to appli-
cants from counties of this State other than Talbot county.
