4600 ARTICLE 21.

P. L. L., 1888, Art. 21, sec. 123. 1860, Art. 20, sec. 95.

291. The constables of said county while attending the circuit court
shall each be entitled to two dollars a day.

JUVENILE COURT.

1920, ch. 438, sec. 1.

292. The other judges of the Second Judicial Circuit of Maryland
shall have the same authority to sit in juvenile cases in Talbot County
as is now held by the Judge designated by the Judges of said Circuit to
sit in such cases under the authority of Chapter 326 of the Acts of 1916,
and that any one or more of said Judges when acting in juvenile cases
shall be known as the Circuit Court for Talbot County, sitting in juve-
nile causes.

1920, ch. 438, sec. 2.

293. In the absence of all of the Judges of said Circuit for Talbot
County, the Police Justice of Easton District of said county shall have
concurrent jurisdiction with the Judges of said Circuit in juvenile cases
in Talbot County arising under the said Act of 1916, and when sitting
in such cases shall be known as the Police Justice of Easton District sit-
ting in juvenile causes, and when sitting in such cases he shall enter upon
his docket the fact of the absence of said Judges from the county.

294. An appeal shall lie from the decision of said Police Justice sit-
ting in juvenile causes to the Circuit Court sitting in juvenile causes, at
the instance of any party to the cause within thirty days from such
decision.

1920, ch. 438, sec. 4.

295. The Circuit Court for Talbot County, sitting in juvenile causes
shall have the same jurisdiction over minors, whose cases have been dis-
posed by said Police Justice, sitting in juvenile causes as if said cases had
been heard and disposed of originally by said Court.

1920, oh. 438, sec. 5.

296. The said Police Justice of Easton District, Talbot County, shall
receive as compensation for his services as Juvenile Court Judge, a salary
of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars per month or proportionate part thereof
as long as he shall continue to be Juvenile Court Justice in said District,
which salary shall be paid to him by the County Commissioners of Talbot
County on the first Mondays in July, October, January and April of
each year as full compensation for the services required of him and ren-
dered by him under this Act. And said Police Justice sitting as Juvenile
Court Justice, shall not be permitted to charge any fee or receive any
gratuity for the performance of any duty required of him under this Act.
